Jim Heiland got home Sunday 2-6-2012
Went in the U of M hospital Thursday for 2 surgeries. Went into surgery at 7:45am got to my room at 6:00pm. They fixed a double hernia and a robotic pyloplasty , that’s to repair a blockage on my right kidney. I guess things went pretty good, the doctors seemed happy, and that’s what counts. Looks like I have 8 stab wounds in my stomach. The staff at the U of M did a good job taking care of me. Got all the tubes and hoses disconnected on Sunday so they kicked me out. Now the hard part. Take it easy for 4 – 6 weeks……but I just have to.
